Context

Attendees of Signal could customize their own conference shirt with our t-shirt screen printers simply by text. The attendee’s shirt size and style preference have been collected at sign up, so they just had to select which glyph they’d like printed, and in which color.

That’s up to 8 possible versions of the conference shirt, chances are you won’t be running into someone with the same shirt as you on the train.

Ordering experience

The entire ordering process is done through SMS via 6 messages, but an attendee can just have the app randomize the order for a surprise.

The attendee will receive visual feedback every step of the way, picking a design and a color, and finally see the shirt before confirming the order.

When the shirt is printed on location and ready for pick up, the attendee will receive one final SMS message letting them know which clothes rack to pick their shirt up at.
