Echoing Intercom’s DEI promise, and ensuring that all
voices of every community are heard.

Context

I had the privilege to design the brand system for Intercom’s employee resource groups. I implemented a system that would allow each ERG use unique visual motifs that represents their communities; while containing them within speech bubbles referring to the amplification of the community’s voice, and to Intercom as a customer communications platform.

Logos

I interviewed and work with each ERG to identify the best visual motif to represent their communities.


Google slides

Intercom’s presentations were built in Google slides, the ERGs shared a presentation template with unique elements that differentiated them.


Slack

A series of animated custom emojis were created for each ERG, allowing the community leaders to embellish and highlight their announcements, and allow their members to represent their associations.
